Our Under 14 team is managed by Gareth Minter (an FA Level 2 coach and a primary school teacher). The team is made up predominantly of children who have been training and playing with the team since they were four years old, with some new children joining the team for the coming season.

As the children have grown older they have begun to show a greater desire to compete in matches, but the priority remains enjoying their football . Children are encouraged to stay on the ball as a team now, passing where a teammate is in a better position, or retaining the ball themselves, all to try and advance up the pitch.  This season the team continue to play 11 a side football, and try to overcome the challenges this poses. All of the team are looking forward to getting going in the league again; we continue to play in the Colchester and District C league. To see how they are getting on click here.
